Sakura2D
Welcome to the Sakura2D homepage! Sakura2D is an open-source reimplementation of the Live2D Cubism software stack, starting with Purism Core, our free drop-in replacement for Cubism Core.
Purism Core offers complete API and ABI compatibility with the original library. Host applications will not notice any differences. It can be built to support the "v5 ABI" (Cubism Core 5.1) or "v6 ABI" (Cubism Core 6.0/Cubism 5.3 SDK); however, it can load the latest MOC3 files regardless, albeit with degraded functionality for 5.3 SDK models when the v5 ABI is used.
Purism Core does not require any licensing arrangements for development or distribution. For more information, see the README.

In most cases, we recommend you use the v5 ABI binaries, since support for the v6 ABI (Cubism 5.3 SDK) is still rather poor in the ecosystem.
